Interviews and Tests


Your interview process will begin shortly after we receive your application. The process itself will consist of 2 interviews. After successfully navigating the interviews, you, as a possible future Twinlobe member, will then be advised of what the next step of your application process will be.

Your application will be turned down, however, if any one of the following happens:

 

· You present a plagiarized demonstration of your creative talents (i.e. an uncredited copy) during the tests following the interviews.

 

· You sought the help of another mud person to pass any of the tests.

 

· The clan, after reviewing your application and interviews, decides that you and the clan would not enhance each other. (see below)

 

Being accepted into one of the oldest clans on Aardwolf is a true privilege. You will have to convince us you are worthy to join. If in your past history on the mud, you were acting against the spirit of  the clan, you will have to convince us that your ways have changed.

Keep in mind that in most cases your application note and the interviews are the first impressions we can get of you! Make it clear to us that you are the person we have just been waiting for! We are a very special clan with very special kinds of members. Impress us! Don't send in plain boring material.

Be open and honest in the interviews! If the interviewers report to the clan something like "He/She seems ok, but I doubt that he/she would be a real addition to clan." It is very likely your application will be turned down, even if you match all other requirements. But don't worry, our members are open-minded, friendly and always ready to accept a new member.

 

All new members go through a mandatory month of Archon rank.  PP earned will be accumulated and rank adjustments will be applied after the probation period is over.

 

Whether you decide to join our clan or not, or for whatever reason your are declined by our clan, we encourage you to seek out a clan that matches your personality and interests.  Clan membership is the best way to experience Aardwolf!

How can I join the Fellowship of the Twin Lobes?

Before you can apply, you must fulfill the following minimum requirements:

You must be minimally into your third remort, or have an alt or previous character above that level.  Alts may not be clanned elsewhere.

You must have completed a minimum of 400 quests per mort to a maximum of 5000 quests after which no limits are set.

You must have completed two campaigns per class, cumulative. For example, a five-classer would need 30 completed campaigns (10+8+6+4+2). This maxes at 56 (7x).  Any campaigns completed in addition to the required amount, may be substituted as 5 quest completes.

 

Applications will be accepted at any time and be processed in the following weeks after they are submitted. Please post your application on the Personal board to Twinlobe. Once your application is received a commission will be formed who will guide you through the process.

 

 

Application process

 

To give us the best possible first impression, you should include more than just "Hi, I want to join!" in your application note. Remember, a clan is a family, and you are looking to join our family.  So you should include why you want to join our clan, what piqued your interest in our little Twinlobe family, and what you expect to get out of being clanned , as well as what you will be contributing.  Including RL hobbies, likes/dislikes, as well as your regular online time will help us in setting up your application process .

During the application process, you will be in contact with several members of our clan. These members will be getting to know you, interviewing you and testing you. Remember that it is not just your time, but it is also time that each member is taking out of their busy schedule, so please be courteous and try not to waste members' time, as well as your own.
